Genocide in Darfur

In this blog post we're supposed to say which party is the "worst" in this case. But frankly, none of that matters. Pointing fingers is what starts genocides, not what ends them.

This issue really isn't as complex as everyone's making it.

"definition of genocide" this, "money" that, "political alliances" and "economics" and "war" all come into place.

But hey, if you're in your neighborhood and your neighbor is getting slowly murdered, are you and the rest of you guys living there just going to sit on your butts debating who should do what and why and what the consequences are etc etc etc, only worrying about YOUR safety and money and all of this. No, you get off your butts and make it stop. Sure, maybe only one of you isn't enough, but all of you together will easily overwhelm 'em.

definitions, money, bills, proposals, memos, policies, political affairs, economics---

Blah, blah, blah.

None of that's real. None of that matters.

What DOES matter is the lives of thousands of people.

But silly me, OBVIOUSLY the money in our bank accounts and political definitions and boundaries are faaar more important than "lives." God...

My solution: punch all the politicians in the face and make them get OVER there and just stop this already. I don't care who's responsible. I don't care how much money it costs. I don't care if it'll ruin your economic relationship with Sudan. None of that's real. That's just silly things human society made up. But human lives are real.

If you really want me to tell who's to blame as said in this blog post though, then everyone. Everyone's being a moron. Sure, we, America, can't "save" everyone---but we, as the WORLD, sure can.
