There are a lot of places out there, interesting (yet uninteresting) in their own ways...

How about China. China is huge, ranges from HUGE crowded cities where you're stupid if you don't smoke (gonna die of respiratory problems anyway), to quiet little villages where you don't have neighbors for several miles and it's just the country side. Sure, everywhere has places like those, but not to this extremity. China has small plains to great rivers and HUGE flipping mountains. Not to mention the Great Wall.

It's probably the only non-English speaking country I might just be able to get around... maybe. Other than Germany I guess. Lots of people there know English anyway.

Plus, Chinese food is the best thing ever.

And there's this one special thing in China, where they have these huge misty landscapes and huge rivers, with a bunch of mountains popping up everywhere, and it looks really majestic and cool. Like the Guilin mountains. I would love to see Guilin one day. And I've seen some magical places, that nature created. It's really something special when you go see them. It's like walking in a dream. Yeah, I'm referring to lots of my Oregon experiences. It's just really refreshing to see something like that--in personal, breathe the air around it, the whole thing. It sounds sort of sentimental, but it's so different from just looking at pictures of it. No picture can do those sorts of places any justice.

I mean, it's such a cool place with such rich culture in it. Sure, its human rights are lagging a bit and though the overall economy is doing awesome, individuals tend to be struggling, but it's a beautiful place, and it's one of the oldest--if not THE oldest--civilizations still standing today (though of course in different from).

Population control

“My three main goals would be to reduce human population to about 100 million worldwide, destroy the industrial infrastructure and see wilderness, with it’s full complement of species, returning throughout the world.”
-Dave Foreman (a self-righteous "environment" nazi. if we're going to do that cutting down to 100 million thing, he should be the first to go).

The Population Control movement first began in the 20th century, when the increase of the human population went up drastically, with more industrial revolutions throughout the globe and the invention of vaccines and antibiotics to sustain human life.

The graph I posted above demonstrates the huge population growth. The reason why the one billion in the 1800s, by the way, dropped, is because of the Bubonic Plague.

So, this large burst of population that is at the rate of adding a billion more people per year, seems like a huge threat, right? But to who?

Environmentalists claim, the planet.

But I think they're full of crap. They really don't care about the environment, they care about themselves. They want all of the population, save for 100 million (which will be composed of the upper upper class and people like Dave Foreman and Al Gore), to die so THEY can have their butts saved. Not the planet. The planet doesn't need saving.

Polar ice caps--there have been times when they didn't even exist. The Cretacious period, anyone? That time had more CO2 in its air than what all of the factories and cars and refrigerators and cows make all together. And the planet survived that. The planet all of the harsh ice ages right afterward, too.

If you don't believe me, just sit back and watch this video.

But more on topic, population control--

Remember that lovely little Dave Foreman quote? He sounds like a nutjob, right?

Well, unfortunately, there are a LOT MORE nut jobs in the world just like him.

Who want anyone who's not really rich and on their side gone.

...

No, really.

Population control, no matter HOW you do it, is always inhumane, except for my views. Hahahaha just kidding. But really now.

"In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up." -Martin Niemoeller, a German minister living in the times of Hitler's control of Germany.

Ever read "Mein Kampf" and all of Hitler's plans for Europe? Notice that he wanted to wipe out all these groups to create one superior land? It wasn't because he was a crazy sociopath, it was because he wanted population control. Notice how no one ever told you about him trying to kill off all the Catholics and Protestants too? But if you're a Nazi, you're fine. If you sit, stay, roll over and obey you'll do just fine, and the rest will perish. After all, according to many Jewish researchers just post-WWII, they estimated that about 6 million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust... and 12 million non-Jewish were murdered, too. But our schools' textbooks ever mention that?

And you know, the very fact that Americans are never told about details like the above, the true plans of many leaders, and many going on now, is because the people behind them are, the guys behind every large business and all the major politicians, who are controlled by said businessmen with money. Oh yeah, and they also control our media, every news channel, every TV station. And they don't want you to believe me because it would be too... inconvenient for them.

Not everyone's behind such closed doors, though. Ever heard of Margaret Sanger? Probably not, heh.

She very publicly believed in the cleansing of the human population and exterminating of all the "weeds" of the human race. She believed the "unfit" (but to whose standards do we define that?) should not reproduce. She openly supported the Nazi plan of genetically engineering the German population for a "superior" race.

She also founded the organization Planned Parenthood, which yes, to this day some of our tax dollars go to. This is the person who wrote of the necessity of "the extermination of 'human weeds' ...the 'cessation of charity,' ... the segregation of 'morons, misfits, and the maladjusted,' and ... the sterilization of 'genetically inferior races.'" Specifically, she wrote of the killing of many ethnic and religious groups, such as blacks, native americans, hispanics (give her a color, she'll wipe it out!), and fundamentalists, catholics, among others.

So how do you define who should be killed and who shouldn't? How do you judge something like this when everyone is all equally human?

Obviously, this decision goes to the hands of the rich, the businessmen, the politicians, and anyone who's different or on anyone else's side will be killed.

"Human happiness and certainly human fecundity are not as important as a wild and healthy planet. I know social scientists who remind me that people are part of nature, but it isn't true ... We have become a plague upon ourselves and upon the Earth ...Until such time as homo sapiens should decide to rejoin nature, some of us can only hope for the right virus to come along." -David Graber (another environmentalist nazi that thinks the planet needs "saving" but really just want a clean space for THEM to live in, and believe that the process involves killing off the vast vast majority of the population, and of course HE will be spared)

You really believe population control is the way? Then go kill yourself. Really, you'll be "saving the planet."

Still don't believe there are whole groups of people that want us all to die?

"We must speak far more clearly about sexuality, contraception, about abortion, about values that control the population, because the ecological crisis, in short, is the population crisis. Cut the population by 90% and there aren't enough people left to do a great deal of ecological damage."

-Dr. Sam Keen, whose remarks were met with a large applause

Not to mention that in 1932, a scientific study in the US recruited 400 Black syphilis-infected men who were told they would be treated for their infections. Lies. They held back the medicines and let them die, actively preventing them to get any treatment, as well as their wives and children.

In the 1960s a group of environmentalists and population control supporters set out to completely stop the use of DDT for mosquito/malaria control, since DDT is extremely effective in saving human lives. Previously, two years after it was first used in Guyana, it almost completely wiped out malaria. DDT is the safest pesticide known to mankind, and animals as well. And it's very inexpensive.

All scientific studies of DDT showed that it was the perfect pesticide--until the end of the 1970's, when the reliable became unreliable. They decided to tweak their facts, fabricate their stories, scare people. Claim it was harmful to animals and humans rather than helpful. Those are all lies.

And it's banned to this day.

If THAT isn't a clear sign that there is a large group of people that want to control the population in numbers and in mind (since you've probably never heard of the DDT issue either, since all of these politicians and such have been LYING to you) then I don't know what is.

In fact, once a reporter asked Dr. Charles Wurster, a huge opponent to DDT, if a ban on DDT would result in the use of more toxic pesticides or not, to which he replied:

"So what? People are the cause of all the problems. We have too many of them. We need to get rid of some of them and this is as good a way as any."

Then the same reporter asked "Doctor, how do you square the killing of people with the mere loss of some birds?"

To which Dr. Charles Wurster replied, "It doesn't really make a lot of difference, because organo phosphate acts locally and only kills farmworkers and most of them are Mexicans and Negroes."

Am I still not convincing enough?

In history we've learned about two major genocides in Africa: Rwanda and Darfur.

Do you really think all those politicians were busy thinking about the definition of "genocide," or what action would benefit their own personal agenda the most? So they decided to call it a "Civil War" even though one group killing another helpless and unarmed group of people isn't a war, it's a genocide, and then only step in when it's too late merely to save their faces at least a little bit.

In 1994 Hutu murderers were rewarded by the AMERICAN government, I kid you not, with millions of dollars in foreign aid. In fact, many UN soldiers stationed in Rwanda willingly handed over Christians to the Hutu militia.

Oops, another thing no one ever told you! During the Rwandan genocide, around a half to 3/4 MILLION Christians were slaughtered brutally, tens of thousands murdered in their churches, and even more in schools and hospitals.

Also please watch this video where David Rockefeller talks about population control and how HE thinks it should be done. I like how he actually admits that he wants a clean space to live in. He doesn't give a crap about the environment, or anyone else.

He's a part of the Rockefeller family. Familiar with the name at all? They're the owners of the Federal Reserve, a PRIVATE company run by BUSINESSMEN who control our national currency. All our money is owned by them. I advise to do some research about the Rockefeller family, and the Rothschild family too, at that. You might find somethings a bit disturbing. They're major bankers. If you control an entire nation's currency, it doesn't matter what the rules are, you have the entire country at your knees. Also see this video from the History Channel, which slips in a tiny part about the Rockefeller family and population control. But who would notice, right!

But back on topic, again.

Genocide, war, disease, yes, population control is going on RIGHT NOW, and not just in the Chinese government. It's happening to you and me, too.

Notice we have flouride in our public water.

Fluoride is a toxic chemical. Yes, it's in your toothpaste, but we don't ingest our toothpaste, do we?

I am NOT BSing you either. The Russians and Germans in WWI-WWII eras HAVE put sodium fluoride in their prisoner's drinking water, which HAS made their prisoners stupid and docile. In fact, during this time the Germans also used fluoride as part of their scheme in controlling entire populations by putting said fluoride in public drinking water. Hitler used it, too. Another thing your government's never told you. As far back as 1983 nations such as the US have been planning and considering the use of the "perfect drug" to zombify their citizens.. fluoride being the chemical of choice. Fluoride isn't just in water. It's in medicines, such as all Prozac-family SSRIS which are prescribed to a very large portion of Americans.

Fluoride isn't to help our teeth problems. European citizens that don't have fluoride in their water have teeth just as healthy as ours. It is scientific FACT that fluoride is toxic to human beings, but it's in our tap water. Just what exactly do you think of that?

Here's another one: pot.

Marijuana is one of the safest therapeutically active substances ever. It serves a thousand different functions, ALL of them positive. Not a single person has died of an overdose EVER. It is not physically addictive in any way, shape, or form. It relieves nausea, chronic pain, muscle tension, and so on.

It also is beneficial to the treatment of diseases such as AIDS, Glaucoma, cancer, multiple sclerosis, tourettes, and chronic pain, just to name a few. It is completely natural, grows everywhere, and has no lab work done on it ever unlike cigarettes, heroin, opium, etc. Many people, however, claim it makes people "apathetic" and it gives them a "dream-like" state. Truth is, it just makes them open their eyes and realize the things society wants them to care about, such as the money in your bank account and your large family, really don't matter.

Yet, like DDT, it's illegal.

So as a final word, I'm going to give you another video. It is all facts. It shows how ways of population control have been used hundreds of years ago. It gives you histories that no one's told you of. Please watch it.

--------

Now, as for MY plan on population control?

First thing that comes to mind is to colonize another planet, however, we are FAR from the technology of doing that.

Soooo, in the meantime, we identify the exact cause of homosexuality.

Hear me out.

Down to the last gene, the last chemical released in the womb. Then we make some sort of way so that we can take fetuses and make them homosexual. Then their likeliness of reproduction would go way down.

Plus, it involves no killing of millions of people, no brainwashing, etc. Plus, then there wouldn't be a social issue about that sort of thing.

Really though.

Good night folks.

Genocide in Darfur

In this blog post we're supposed to say which party is the "worst" in this case. But frankly, none of that matters. Pointing fingers is what starts genocides, not what ends them.

This issue really isn't as complex as everyone's making it.

"definition of genocide" this, "money" that, "political alliances" and "economics" and "war" all come into place.

But hey, if you're in your neighborhood and your neighbor is getting slowly murdered, are you and the rest of you guys living there just going to sit on your butts debating who should do what and why and what the consequences are etc etc etc, only worrying about YOUR safety and money and all of this. No, you get off your butts and make it stop. Sure, maybe only one of you isn't enough, but all of you together will easily overwhelm 'em.

definitions, money, bills, proposals, memos, policies, political affairs, economics---

Blah, blah, blah.

None of that's real. None of that matters.

What DOES matter is the lives of thousands of people.

But silly me, OBVIOUSLY the money in our bank accounts and political definitions and boundaries are faaar more important than "lives." God...

My solution: punch all the politicians in the face and make them get OVER there and just stop this already. I don't care who's responsible. I don't care how much money it costs. I don't care if it'll ruin your economic relationship with Sudan. None of that's real. That's just silly things human society made up. But human lives are real.

If you really want me to tell who's to blame as said in this blog post though, then everyone. Everyone's being a moron. Sure, we, America, can't "save" everyone---but we, as the WORLD, sure can.

/rant

Musicians

There are lots of artists I like, my favorites being Muse and The Mars Volta, the former (Muse) I've liked since fifth grade and the latter (TMV) since seventh. (Origin of Symmetry has got to be one of the best albums I've ever listened to)

However, those two bands are getting increasingly popular which for selfish reasons I don't really like because I like to see them as MY BANDS and I don't want to share.

I also lovelovelove hard rock and metal. Tool, Megadeth, RATM, 10 Years, Evans Blue, Battlelore, Dream Theater, Earshot, Opeth, to name just a few.

But the artist I want to concentrate more on is much more underground. Riverside, another one of my favorites. They're a progressive rock band from Poland, and pretty underground. And they're awesome.

Some of their songs (click to listen):

02 Panic Room

Conceiving You

Turned You Down

Rainbow Box

Through The Other Side

Cybernetic Pillow

Cheers.

All that is gold does not glitter

Not all those who wander are lost;

The old that is strong does not wither,

Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

So lately I've gotten back into a Lord of The Rings kick and I read all three novels (I forgot about The Hobbit, but since that's really a separate story I get away with reading it last) and now am reading The Hobbit.

During Spring Break me and several of my dudes will all watch the extended versions of LOTR--all the movies, in a row. And it will be amazing.

So yeah, lots and lots of geeking out about LOTR.

Me and Mitzi also decided that Saruman looks like he should be an 80's death metal rock god. And he looks like he'd be the bassist. Gandalf would do wicked Dream Theater-esque guitar solos while screamsinging and the Balrog would be on the drums! It would be the most epic thing ever. I can just picture it. Right on the cover of The Rolling Stone: "THE WIZARDS RELEASE THEIR NEW HIT ALBUM ENTITLED 'YOU SHALL NOT PASS!'" I would definitely buy that album.

More geeking out:

I've read Watchmen a thousand times and really want to go see the movie, which I will during Spring Break.

Even more:

X-Men Origins is coming out around May. Gotta see that one too. Apparently it has Gambit in it (finally). Awesome.

Last two weeks:

Not much. I have to finish my science project for bio all this weekend, and I was very stressed about it throughout last week since I didn't start anything, but I've got most of it done yesterday and today and now it's not such a big deal. All I have to do is write the conclusion and all is well.

Food-wise:

I am all of the sudden very hungry.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,

A light from the shadows shall spring;

Renewed be blade that was broken,

The crownless again shall be king.

and true love waits in haunted attics

and true love lives on lollipops and crisps.

Can you learn love? Isn't it something that naturally comes to you?

Love isn't something that's taught, and it can't be forced on either. Learning about the person is important though, cause otherwise there'd be no person & their qualities to love. It's a very gradual process.

In R&J's case, it would have just been better if Juliet married Paris. But then again, I don't consider R&J's case love, just... insane infatuation. They didn't even know each other, but that doesn't matter when you have raging hormones.

Nothing else to say really.

Past two weeks. Maybe it's natural, maybe it's we humans and our craploads of pollution, maybe it's both (which is what I think).

I also dislike Al Gore and his biased film especially because he is a huge hypocrite--I mean come ON, who makes a stupid CONCERT for "global warming awareness" (if you have a TV I'm pretty darn sure you've heard a bit about global warming) which has each band have their own PRIVATE JET and then not to mention all the bloody lights they're using. But that's another story.

Global warming: I don't care whether you believe in it or not, it doesn't MATTER.

People should know "hey, this atmosphere sucks, obviously dumping carbon dioxide in the air can't be good for animal life forms including us, maybe we should find a more efficient way of doing things!"

Have you ever gone to one of those places that don't have any suburbs at all, like it's citycitycity, some small towns and then there's just nothing? It's so weird, one hour you're turning up your air conditioning in your car so you don't have to inhale all that crap and the next you can actually see the sky.

Weird thing is, there's this big ugly cloud of smog over parts of India and China that kills over 100,000 people a year, but if it went away right now then the entire global temperature would raise about 2 degrees, which doesn't sound like a big deal but it really is.

We should send some sort of super-light-reflecting particles into space to start revolving around our planet, or somehow make an artificial ring that revolves around Earth in a way so that the ring actually shifts around, so maybe if that ugly smog cloud was gotten rid of we wouldn't worry about temperatures rising much.

I just wish people would shut up about global warming and stop arguing and start finding more ways to recycle more things, how to keep our air and water clean and the ecosystem intact in the best way possible.

On that note, we should genetically engineer some super-garbage-devouring bacteria and send the little buggers off to the land fills in massive quantities to eat everything. And we should get rid of all the cows, because even though I love steak just as much as the next meat-eating human, those things fart too much and produce too much freaking methane. They can go. (Don't worry about your fast food hamburger crap either, only about 2% of that stuff is real, so no loss there).

Either that, or we go get Chuck Norris and have him roundhouse kick Earth a couple miles away from the sun.

Edit: harumph harumph evidently we are supposed to do an overview of the past 2 weeks or something..?

Yeah nothing interesting happening over here. I went to see the school play of Grease. Funny when the dude got pantsed and his boxers fell down too ahahahhaaha. Luckily he was wearing boxers under those boxers. Oh man and good thing too. Made me crack up. Poor dude.

Nah I can't think of anything else. I don't lead a very exciting or dynamic life and I'm a pretty uninteresting person myself so let's leave that at that.

technology

can be good or bad, to put it bluntly.

What would I do without my computer or my tablet? Though I use technology all the time, I try not to become attached to it so I have to say "dude I CANNOT live without my ipod." Material possessions like that are nice, but not necessary or all that precious.

I think we're way behind with technology, personally. This is the twenty-first century, man. Where are my flying cars and laser beam guns? Where's my vacation to Mars?

Instead of doing anything important with our technology (ie, space travel, gathering the most efficient environmentally-friendly renewable energies, saving lives) we're obsessed with putting as much memory as we can on an iPod.

I don't like the idea of living without technology, but I definitely don't like the idea of becoming so reliable on it that if anything crashes or goes wrong we'll all die, or something. Technology has got us to amazing places, sure, but it's also set us back. It's not the technology that does this, though, it's the humans who possess it.

Gotta love me some technology though. It's actually pretty amazing how much it's advanced over the years. From traveling across the globe to traveling across the galaxy (well we're not quite there yet).

I wish I was born way later in the world, so people would be colonizing on different planets in different solar systems and suchandsuch, or maybe I just read way too many Isaac Asimov novels.

So yeah. Technology is awesome, but you're not the technology you own.

Diversity

It's pretty much our foundation. Our forefathers came here for freedom of religion.
Many of our forefathers didn't believe in slavery at that time either.

America has always been diverse, but the diversity only grew over the years. This is healthy, because then almost invisible minorities become a big deal, and instead of being discriminated against, an amendment is made to guarantee equal rights. Our population over the years has boomed, the more people, the more different groups of people, the more diversity.

The 2006 US racial demographics are as follows:

white - 74% (221.3 million)

hispanic & latino - 14.8% (44.3 million)

black - 13.4% (40.9 million)

other - 8.6% (27.4 million)

asian - 4.4% (13.1 million)

Well most people in America tend to be white and Christian, it really depends on where you go. There's a pretty big racial demographic difference between New York City, NY; Lincoln, Nebraska; El Paso, Texas; and Philadelphia, PA. For religion though, I think most people are Christian no matter where you go.

The only problem with diversity is if that's your only focus. If you own a business and are concentrating on having the amount of hispanic, white, and black people be exactly equal, you're still looking at people for their skin color and not their abilities or who they are, so it's still being racist in a sense. I'm not one for too much political correctness.

Favorite place in the US?

Tough question.

San Francisco is my favorite city, but Oregon is my favorite state.

San Fran is so diverse and full of life, all the people there are really friendly and liberal, and they have awesome restaurants.

I've been all over Oregon though. The beaches tend to be pretty chilly and windy but on clear days they're really nice--in the summer the highs tend to be in the 60's and the lows are 40's-50's. Some areas are REALLY good for fishing. There's also lots of crabs running around.

Oregon has a lot of mountains, since the Cascades pass right through it. Lots and lots of mountains, and the hills there make the hills in Austin look really, really flat. Great biking area.

One of my aunts actually has a summer home on one of the mountains there (black butte) and you can see all the mountains surrounding you very clearly, it's a very cool place. This summer when I went, there was a huge fire before so lots and lots of trees were dead.

Oregon also has a TON of forests, with VERY tall trees. I went hiking in Silver Falls once, I literally felt like I was walking through a fairy tale or fantasy movie like Princess Mononoke or something. It was surreal, and gorgeous.

The must-see site in Oregon is by FAR Crater Lake. This summer I went there, and it was the most beautiful thing I've seen in my entire life. If you think photographs of it look cool, just see the real deal in PERSON. Absolutely. Magical. Photographs will nevereverever do the lake justice. At the very top of this post is a picture I took of Crater Lake.

Crater lake is actually an old volcano that collapsed and water collected inside the "crater", forming a lake. Along side crater lake, life thrives--again, it felt like walking through the movie Princess Mononoke--green forests, springs, and a TON of these orange butterflies zooming by all in one direction--and I mean a TON. There must have been hundreds of thousands of them.

There's also these funky rock formations called the Pinnacles--some are several stories tall, and are just columns of rock, a bit like stalagmites.

Yeah, I'm about done with my rant here.

Terrorism

Terrorism is a very confusing and complex topic.

What is a terrorist anyway?

"insurgent or freedom fighter: a rebel"

"one who utilizes the systematic use of violence and intimidation to achieve political objectives, while disguised as a civilian non-combatant"

and so on.

Terrorists also tend to be the made up scapegoat for the United States to go to war with Iraq--the real reasons behind our activity over there have to do with two things: oil, and most of all, Israel. I'll go into detail about that later.

warning: before you continue, make sure you're open-minded enough to not hear "conspiracy" and think "crazy ufo-seeing idiots", and actually try to understand a different view point. thanks.

So let's take 9/11 for example.

http://nogw.com is an AWESOME website for information, especially for those interested in picking apart details. This webpage covers almost everything.

http://911proof.com is a great website to check out, just throwing that out there.

I also recommend watching Terror Storm and Zeitgeist (they can get a bit extreme, especially Zeitgeist but they really make you question everything and doubt everything, it gives you a nice reality check)

Conspiracy has happened before.

One of the most famous (or infamous, rather) examples of this is when Adolf Hitler dressed up one of his prisoners as a Polish soldier, and had him shot and killed on German soil. This made it look like the Polish were up to something, and they had an excuse to invade Poland.

In another Hitler-related case, the Nazis set fire to their OWN governmental building, and blamed it on others.

This is called a false-flag operation, and is a common technique for conspirers.

It's crazy, right? But it's 100% real. In the case of the US though, they needed something more... something like Pearl Harbor. Something that is BIG.

"Terrorism is the best political weapon, for nothing drives people harder than a fear of sudden death." -Adolf Hitler

"The easiest way to gain control of a population is to carry out acts of terror. [The public] will clamor for such laws if their personal security is threatened." --Josef Stalin

Now here's another point I'd like to drive hard into everyone's skulls:

when it comes to politics, EVERYONE is the "bad guy"

Comparing the US to a communist or national socialist country may be a bit "extreme," but what we're looking at is the corruption of the government, and there is a LOT of that in the modern-day United States of America.

AMERICA HAS TAKEN PART IN FALSE FLAG OPERATIONS IN THE PAST.

take a look here:

http://deeperpolitics.gnn.tv/blogs/7329/Examples_of_documented_False_Flag_Terrorism

it explains everything. many of these incidents have been actually been ADMITTED to.

Post 9/11, George Bush signed UNCONSTITUTIONAL acts such as the Patriot Act.

Basically, we're being manipulated by fear, which works extremely well as stated earlier.

What is the Patriot Act and how does it infringe on our rights?

Many Americans just let this go, saying "well it's for our safety", so tell me,

which would you rather sacrifice for the other, liberty or safety?

Personally, I'd rather be free than safe. I don't feel safe if I'm not free, frankly.

How it infringes your constitutional rights:

1. Freedom of Speech

2. Search and Seizure

This is the big one. Today, if you are suspected, even if for NO REASON AT ALL, to be a "terrorist", you can be searched, which is a violation of privacy. The Patriot Act allows this in airports and even taps in on your phone calls!

3. Self-Incrimination

Instead of having a judge in a court, with the Patriot Act the FBI, CIA, etc, can pretty much step in and do whatever they want. So if the Attorney General deems you a threat to national security, you can be put in prison for life without a trial, no questions asked. Which leads us the the next right violated.

4. Right to a speedy and public trial

The above explains it all already pretty much. Now you may never get a trial ever, at all.

5. Cruel and Unusual Punishment

Hey, it's not like the Patriot Act changes much anyway. There are already prisoners in the custody of the US already being tortured.

6. Punishment Without Conviction

Explained above.

Now the FBI and CIA have access to all your files without any evidence that you may be subject to investigation. Soon we will have a law called "domestic terrorism", so any political protesters can be arrested, which is already starting to go on, as the government is starting to create special areas for protestors and they can't protest anywhere else--this way, no one will have to pay attention to anything they say so it's like they're not even there!

Bye bye constitution, let's all go to jail.

So just why is 9/11 an illogical event?

God, if only I could possibly list all the reasons.

1. PEOPLE THAT WERE ACTUALLY INSIDE THE BUILDING AT THE TIME said that they felt an explosion in the basement. There were a few witnesses that were actually IN the basement, and they said that a few seconds before the airplane crash, they felt an explosion and were thrown way across the room.

2. The National Institute for Standards and Technology ADMITS that the collapse of the twin towers via plane crash is IMPOSSIBLE ( http://prisonplanet.com/articles/october2007/161007_nist_admits.htm

http://guardian.150m.com/wtc/how-hot.htm)

The temperature at which steel melts is between 1400 and 1540 degrees celcius, depending on the type of steel. A Boeing 767 is capable of carrying 23,980 gallons of jet fuel, which can burn around only 257 degrees celcius in the situation of the twin towers. There is NO WAY for this puny airplane to burn through STEEL like that, much less make the ENTIRE BUILDING, over 110 stories tall, pancake PERFECTLY, leaving not a SINGLE chunk of steel or ANYTHING left.

3. If you didn't understand 2, I'll sum it up in a very simple way via analogy:

if a lumberjack swings an axe at a tree, what happens? Does the tree implode into billions and trillions of dust particles? No, thats ridiculous. Now let's apply this, along with the scenario explained in 2, to the Twin Towers. There is NO WAY that this could have POSSIBLY occurred.

4. Then there is the argument of the possibility of fire. When I watched the twin towers collapse so long ago, I knew something was missing. There was NEVER a single time in HISTORY where a building collapsed due to fire. Ever. Burning down doesn't mean collapsing, by the way. Fire also definitely does NOT make a building magically implode, either. And again, a fire occurring on ONE story of a 110 story building, COULD NOT MAKE A BUILDING LIKE THAT PANCAKE. No. That thing just BAM! imploded in a few seconds, so perfectly. How a plane crash could cause THAT is way beyond me.

Okay I could rant on literally into all of eternity about 9/11, so I'll just leave it at the basics.

I'm not saying terrorists don't exist. Sure, they do. I just don't think 17 or 19 or something terrorists armed with box cutters and FAKE explosives could hi-jack 4 international airlines and accomplish a plan like that. Just no way.

So how is 9/11 and the war in Iraq linked with Israel?

Israel is like the friend that is just using you and controlling you. And America's the puppet.

Please, please, please look at this website, it is incredibly informative and will really change your views, giving you the side that your television and your peers and parents and newspapers and books and teachers NEVER gave you:

http://www.nogw.com/warforisrael.html

Some good points that site brought up:

-Israel is THE ONLY nuclear-enabled country in all of the middle east

-Israel benefits ENORMOUSLY by the US's reshaping of the middle east by controlling the oil reserves, creating cheap oil for Israel in order for their economy to not just survive, but flourish

-After WWII, many Jewish people wanted to return to the "holy land", Israel. Since the United States was with the allied forces, they had to help them, right? So they conquered and STOLE land, and America let them get away with it--America HELPED them get away with it. Because of the huge tensity between Arab countries and Israel--differences in religion, language, politics, ESPECIALLY with the whole Israel-expansion idea going on, the Arabic countries had a right to be upset with them. Some Israel extremists even believe that Israel extends from the Nile River from the Euphrates in the east, through Turkey, Syria, and Iraq.

-Israel's army is the 4th largest in the world

-Israel has the ability to take out every major city in Europe

-Iran and other Arabic countries are creating nuclear power plants so they can feel SECURE with this obviously HUGE threat RIGHT NEXT TO THEM I MEAN COME ON

-Ariel Sharon, Prime Minister of Israel from 2001-2006, said himself,

"Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that... I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it."

This is no joke either. They control us through the Federal Reserve and central banks ("Let me issue and control a nation's money and I care not who writes the laws.") and also have control over England, Germany, and Australia.

Overview:

I don't believe that any terrorists from the Middle East have ever landed an attack on America.

I believe in questioning ALL beliefs. Questiong what I am telling you right now, even.

Anyone could be lying to you, even your country.

Have a nice day.

My School~

I attend LC Anderson High School in Austin, Texas.

School starts at 9:00 and ends at 4:15. There are eight periods, all 50 minutes long, except for days with advisory, which is every Thursday. Advisory is 30 minutes long, and a total waste of time.

I take all pre-AP classes, along with Chinese I, PE, and Guitar I. Guitar's my favorite class. :) But my English teacher Mr. Farr is my favorite teacher. Mr. Sperry's also cool, but he teaches Chemistry and Robotics.

Anderson has a ton of clubs, I can't think of all of them, my brain would probably explode trying to count them all. I'm part of two clubs: GSA (gay-straight alliance) and Robotics. GSA meets every Wednesday afternoon and Robotics meets after school every day.

Yesterday (Friday) and today, I went to the Maker Faire at the Travis County Expo Center to help set up our robotics team display in the arena, which showed off our FIRST (a competition Anderson went to last year) robots.. Today I also helped drive for BEST (a competition going on this October 25) in the barn against the other schools there. It was pretty crowded, and I just learned how to drive the robot so it was sort of difficult, not to mention the course we go through is impossible to do (we have to put together a fake airplane, it's so much harder than it looks) and this one wire in the claw kept popping out so the claw couldn't close, but then it actually got fixed... this time for good (hopefully) and the only other problem we had was lack of battery.

Clubs are fun and addicting.

High school is definitely a LOT better than middle school. The people are better, the teachers (at least, my teachers this year are WAY better than last year), we have way more freedom, it's just lots better. We get lots of homework this year though, lots of unnecessary work which one sophomore just called "busy work", and I agree.

High school has its ups and downs, but it beats the nightmare that was middle school.

Illegal immigration

Living in Texas at this time, it's inevitable.

Illegal immigration: Who are illegal immigrants? Why do they immigrate illegally? What are the issues involved in this? What are some ideas that may help solve it?

I. Push factors

The illegal immigrants we hear about on a fairly regular basis are citizens of Mexico.

Mexico is currently a government facing terrible corruption. According to http://state.gov/g/drl/rls/hrrpt/2007/100646.htm , the following have occurred: unlawful killings by security forces, kidnappings (even by police), physical abuse, overcrowded and poor prison conditions, arrests/detentions with little to no reason, corruption, ineffecient judicial systems, confessions due to physical abuse used as evidence in trials, criminal intimidation of journalists causing self-censorship, domestic violence against women, violence in general (even murder) against women, trafficking in people (even with official involvement), social and economic discrimination, child labor, AND MORE.

And some people wonder WHY these people are desperate to get out of Mexico. Do you really want to live in a place like that? If I was trapped in a horrible, corrupt land like that I'd want out as soon as possible too, and I doubt I would be able to wait like many thick United States citizens think Mexican citizens should do.

II. Pull factors

CROSSING THE BORDER IS RISKY.

People who have attempted crossing the border have been arrested, killed, their lives completely thrown away. These people who cross the border, they know this. They know the risk they take. So why do they do it? Why can't they just wait? Because they can't. This is often a matter of life and death.

Many families out there are poor, starving, helpless. But as if this Mexican government wasn't bad enough, America doesn't do such a good job either.

By trying to push them away, they only fight back stronger, and we just can't understand that. The way to reduce illegal immigration is to simplify the immigration process. There are lots of parts of the immigration process that are ridiculous, and simply unnecessary. It takes what, five to seven years to become a legal citizen? That is a long period of waiting!

We could at least welcome them in, and give them a time limit to get all the paper work done and everything dealt with, but if they get in trouble with the law or miss the time limit, then they can be deported right back. But just shooting them right down, in many cases even literally? Even from the conservative perspective, that's a bit inhumane.

We refuse to help those who are down at their knees for us and yet, we make the hypocritical move of going off to middle east countries such as IRAQ to help with a silly war and rebuild the country. Why did we do this? OIL. Every pint of blood spilled over there is worth a drop of oil in your car's gas tank. This war has NOTHING TO DO WITH AMERICA.

But does this deal with Mexico have to do with America? Yes. Does it require any sort of warfare? Nope! Heck, if anything, this would be an economic opporunity.

Unlike many "spoiled" Americans, who tend expect a good enough wage so their families can at least afford to buy the new version of iPod every year or so, Mexican citizens are willing to work for less, and work at hard labor jobs that many places are lacking in.

So when they take these jobs that are necessary but no one else wants 'em, houses get built, roads get paved, yadayada, and while they pursue a better life in America, Americans can pursue a better life in America by having the opportunity to take better jobs.

This sort of thing is especially needed in this desperate time of recession.

One issue that is often brought up is that of "OH MY GOD WHAT IF TERRORISTS KILL US ALL!!" but this is being very very paranoid, these people just want to provide for themselves and their families, they wouldn't know how to blow up a city or pilot a plane or anything like that. Guarding the sourthern borders like neo-nazis is not our only security system, and having more open borders doesn't mean we let anyone waltz right in here.

summer stuff~

Most of the time over the summer I just sort of sat around and drew stuff on the computer all day.

Though for two weeks I did go to Oregon, which I visit every couple years cause that's where I'm from, and my family lives there.

I visited my aunt/uncle/cousins that live in the valley area and we hiked up to Silver Falls for several hours, and our feet nearly fell off, especially when we hiked uphill. It was really beautiful though. I felt like I was walking in a fantasy novel or one of those fantasy animes with those huge forests... especially the forest in the movie Princess Mononoke.

Later a different aunt of mine drove us up to another very magical place, Crater Lake. It's actually a collapsed volcano with the bluest water you'll ever see in it. We hiked a little on the sides of crater lake, with its huge boulders and thick forests (Princess Mononoke-esque forests all over again!) and there were TONS of these orange butterflies just zooming by in the same direction, there must have been thousands, maybe millions of them. A lot. Also there are these weird stalagmite-shaped things growing along a canyon along Crater Lake, called the pinnacles.

Next up I went to another aunt/uncle/cousins' summer home at Black Butte (which is a mountain, not a butte...) and that was probably the best part of the trip. We hiked along a lake and had lunch on private property (we're rebels I know). We also played a lot of tennis, which was fun, especially since we were all horrible at it and my cousin Ethan kept on hitting the tennis balls out of the court (the person fetching these balls hated him for it, but he was always proud of himself). One evening we played this awesome board game called Quelf, which is the silliest, craziest, most random thing ever. It was so much fun. There was this one rule card, which was a "global rule" so it applied to all players (except when it was their turn) and everyone of us had to translate everything we say with sign language... and if we don't we have to move back a certain amount of spaces. There was this one card I got that was a "showbiz" card and I had to dance and chant for the gods to make it rain. The card also said that if it started raining while I did this, I would win the game. (I did win, but not because of this, no rain). And once there was another global rule where everyone had to sing to Fred the genie for a wish before we rolled the dice for our turn. And another time I had a rule card where every time I drew a card I'd have to lick my teeth and say, "Willy Wonka has arrived!" My mom also got a rule card where she had to put her right hand on her left knee and point at the wall, and she could only move from this position when it was her turn. There was another rule card I got where every time someone passed me I had to jump down on the floor and shout "you've thwarted us again you vile beast!"

in short: we had fun.

After that we went back to my Grandma's house and watched a filming of the play my uncle Earl did... It was The Pink Panther. He played Inspecter Jauque Cleaseu. His accent was perfect, hahaha. Everyone kept telling him, "you didn't have to act for this role did you, you could just be yourself!" and he just said, "yup."

Next we went to the coast with my cousin Chloe and the same aunt that drove us to crater lake. It was cold and windy there so there wasn't too much time to walk on the beach, though in the morning we investigated the tide pools, kidnapping crabs and petting anenomes. There was also an aquarium we went to where you could touch sea urchins and anenomes and these little shark-fish things. Anenomes are really soft. There was also this octopus there, which was really cool looking, and made me want a pet octopus... some anenomes and a marine iguana would be sweet too.

Anyway, my hobby I picked up while we were at the coast was counting the cigarette butts on the street. For one day I got 572, the other 617, and another was well over 1200. We just drove along the coast and looked around. It was sort of eerie looking, with all of the fog, you looked out to the horizon but couldn't see it. It was like we were arrived at the end of the world.

We also went to these sea lion caves... and man sea lions are smelly and LOUD. They were very talkative, but sounded like they just had a bunch of Mexican food for lunch along with soda and were trying to burp out a secret code to each other. By the coast in clearer waters in a really really small bay there were several seals swimming around, but they weren't noisy or smelly or ugly, they were actually really cute.

Anyway, that was pretty much my trip in a nutshell I guess.

Self-introduction time.

People like to talk about themselves, so that's what I'm going to do.

I enjoy normal teenager things, such as sleeping in until noon and eating and staring at a computer screen all day. I like artistic activities, such as playing guitar and piano, drawing/painting, writing, reading, and so on. I am also very nerdy, being a science fiction, anime, and comic addict. I also find the human mind extremely fascinating and have been seriously considering being an FBI agent (federal bureau of investigation), but at this point I am pretty open about it.

Also, to the right is a picture I just finished using Photoshop CS (digital art program) featuring one of the planets I made up and a space trade station and a satellite. The planet doesn't look too big in the picture but that's because the foreground is the space station which is probably about 1200 km from where this picture would have been viewed from, and the planet itself is much much further away, being close to the size of Saturn. The thing about the picture that most upsets me is the terrible shape of the space station, but it was a pretty rushed drawing overall (took me about two hours) and isn't very good.
